When I go for a walk each day, I often encounter homeless people on the streets of Portland. They may even have a dog as their companion. This song is about a fictional homeless man and the dog he calls Mercy. Ario and Rhesa in Indonesia recorded the tracks and I mixed the recording. - Elton, August 2025
